ROCK’N BREWS AND BBQ STATE COMPETITION EVENT

The Boise Spectrum is proud to announce its hosting of this year’s Rock’N Brews and BBQ State Competition!

Come out Saturday, September 8th, prepared to feast on some of the states best BBQ options. Gates will open at 11 A.M., and remain open until 5 P.M.

Admission is completely free to the public. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to the Idaho Guard and Reserve Family Support Fund.

Attendees will be able to purchase raffle tickets, with the grand prize being a Rock’N Brews Festival cornhole game. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to the Idaho Guard and Reserve Family Support Fund.

BBQ

Vendors will be set up around the Spectrum with various delectable BBQ Options. While taking in the sights and smells of the event, attendees will be able to purchase food from vendors all throughout the day.

Each Vendor is competing for the first prize: An invitation to the Jack Daniels National Championship 

Certified judges will go around and make their selection for this prize.

Music

Bands such as The Voltz, The 504 Plan, and Carlos Dagger will play throughout the evening, providing the majority of the entertainment.

Beer and Brewerys

Along with various BBQ options, 14 different local breweries will be on hand providing some of the best beer options in the valley.

A few of these breweries include: Sockeye Brewery, Payette Brewery, and Edge Brewery.

Those over 21 years of age may purchase tickets for beer tasting samples from the Idaho breweries. Unlimited beer tasting tickets are $25 in advance, and $30 at the door. Beer will be served from noon until 4 pm.

Those who purchase tickets in advance will receive commemorative glass tasting mugs. Tickets are available while supplies last.
